Terms of Service (Effective as of 10 October 2025)

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ecovolt Technologies Pte. Ltd.’s (“Ecovolt,” “we,” “our,” “us”) products, software, hardware, mobile applications, dashboards, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

2. Definitions

“Customer” refers to any entity or individual subscribing to, purchasing, or deploying Ecovolt’s Services.

“Devices” means Ecovolt IoT hardware products, including smart plugs, MCB meters, wall sockets, and any related accessories.

“Software” refers to Ecovolt’s cloud-based platform (EcoMonitor), mobile application, and analytics dashboard.

“Data” includes energy usage data, device information, and any personal data collected during the use of the Services.

3. Eligibility

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the entity you represent.

4. Use of Services

License — Ecovolt grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

Restrictions — You shall not: reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Software or Devices; use the Services to infringe upon any intellectual property rights; interfere with or disrupt network or server operations; or use the Services for unlawful purposes.

5. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

6. Subscription and Payment

Access to the Software is provided via a subscription plan as stated in your service order. All fees are payable in advance, non-refundable, and billed in SGD unless stated otherwise.

7. Service Availability and Support

Ecovolt endeavours to ensure continuous availability of the Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support is available during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM SGT).

8. Data Ownership and Usage

You retain ownership of all energy and building data collected through Ecovolt Devices. Ecovolt may process and analyse anonymised data for the purposes of providing, improving, and securing the Services.

9. Warranty and Disclaimer

Hardware Warranty — 12 months from delivery. Disclaimer — all Services provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

Ecovolt shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

All IP rights in Devices, Software, and Services remain the exclusive property of Ecovolt.

12. Termination

Ecovolt may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. Sections 8–11 survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Singapore.

14. Amendments

Ecovolt reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
